Poetry entitled:"Dont lose me".

Don’t lose me

For I slip further and further

From you

When the tears roll down

You don’t wish you were there

To love and to hold

You left me to fend for myself

Like a dead cat to lick its wounds

Yesterday I swore you held on so close

My eye blinked

Only to see the truth

Of you letting me go

Through a crowd o’er faces

Of passerbys walking

You promised you would hold on

But holding on is never for long

With a blink of an eye

A slip of a word

Your hand loosened

Enough.To not feel it perspire

I stood there lost

Not found

Not

By

You.

Poetry-Entitled:"Sea Closets"

I thought it was time for change
So I cleaned out my closet.
I thought organization would help me this time around--but it only did a small portion.
Like loose change for a rainy day
My clinging as cluttered with so many things.
Three (3) hours to clean a pretty small closet.
Buried through old clothes,a pirate's treasure unearthed from the surface
It's true what they say, only some people get to see your heart.
Like a ship ready to set forth
I packed you off
You loathed the waiting and I hated the fight
We struggled beyond reach
My heart wrenched between destiny--the way I am
A shock to reality
I have awakened
The Crew master shouts:"Ohoy!"
Further than fists go: retrieve.
An Eye from the distance sees
You have reeled in an unscathed golden coin.
