Morning Musings

Poetry
Entitled: "Dark Knight"

Friend,we could sit here,
Abandoning all fears insight
That hold so benign in what we have
If you joined me today
I would teach you of new places
Where you could entangle yourself
In everyday trappings of this world
Where you could take new steps
Just to show them you're brave
That the armour you wear is of use
Pitter patter sounds fall now
Pausing each domesticated thought
Of dark places in mind
Because everyone standing
Wants to see you were just a knave
That the spot you hold
Behind and between her
Can only wash away into silent jokery
An unscrupulous man.
I could take you above high-rises
Where soft masses lay beneath
That can only arch over your enemies
With  unclasped hands shrieking a silent "goodbye"
Where your "goodbye"only reaches thin air.
In this darkness of night without trusties
Friend, bravery comes to those who want it.
