Dig Deeper:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love looked like a freckled face
Love wore curled locks  strung upwards in the air
Love knew "real "music at class parties
Made jokes  at the right times on bus rides home
But love sunk in the sea when oceans divided it.
Love knocked in an IM message
Until it cross-countried saying "welcome" at a white-oaked door.
Love enjoyed holding hands and travels through the rain
Till love died in distance.
Love unravelled in lengthy "get-to-know-yous"
It curled up in late nights of busy schedules
Falling asleep near sickly stomachs
Love waited in evenings without words
Hospital visits and silence
Love knew no monetary bounds
It creeped through in 2AM messages
Showed up as its own defense force
Love saw culture as perpendicular lines
That ran through and through
Until crevices dried up as fountains do
Love could not marry
Love said 'goodbye'.
But one day, when Love has been greeted.
"Welcome, how are you? Make yourself comfortable."
Love will stay.Or not.
Love will crawl through time, and wrinkles
Love will stand quietly, disarmed like airport arrivals.
